Who is this course for?

The training is intended for employees who are not electrical professionals but may encounter electrical equipment as part of their work. It is based on the SFS 6002:2025 standard and Finnish electrical safety legislation.

Why is electrical safety awareness important?

Many employees work in environments where electrical equipment is present, even though electrical work is not part of their job. Understanding the basic principles of electrical safety helps prevent accidents and supports safe working practices around electrical installations and equipment.

This training provides the general electrical safety knowledge expected from instructed persons under the SFS 6002:2025 standard. It helps employers ensure that employees understand their responsibilities, recognise situations that fall outside their competence, and know when qualified electrical professionals must be involved.
